Carbide Chainsaw Chain

Carbide chain is used for cutting in conditions that would quickly destroy a standard saw chain, and is idea for use by fire departments, professional burl cutters, and pulp mills.

It is made by grinding a portion of standard saw chain away and silver soldering a solid chip of carbide back on, resulting in a chain that can last exceptionally long in abrasive conditions.
